Job Description
- Food preparation: Assist with basic food prep by washing, peeling, and cutting vegetables, portioning ingredients, and preparing food items for cooks.
- Dishwashing: Wash, dry, and put away all dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchen utensils.
- Cleaning and sanitation: Keep the kitchen area, equipment, and work surfaces clean and sanitized. This includes mopping and sweeping floors and wiping down surfaces.
- Stocking and organizing: Receive and store food and supply deliveries, restock ingredients, and organize supplies and equipment.
- Waste removal: Routinely empty and replace garbage bags and take out trash and recycling from the kitchen area.
- Support: Assist with other kitchen tasks as needed, such as helping with food plating or clearing tables.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- With good communication skills
- Previous experience in a kitchen or restaurant is beneficial
