Job Description
- Fabricate, install, and repair piping systems including seawater, fuel oil, ballast, bilge,fire main, and air systems
- Measure, cut, thread, bend, and fit pipes to required specifications using manual and powered tools.
- Develop pipe spools, including creating offsets, bends, lobster backs, and complex fittings to match vessel layouts.
- Read and interpret piping isometrics, drawings, and ship system schematics accurately
- Work in cooperation with welders, fabricators, riggers, and other trades to ensure efficient project completion
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Metal Fabrication/Tool & Die/Welding) or similar fields.
- Must have 3 years of experience in marine or industrial pipefitting, preferably within a ship repair or shipbuilding environment.
- Proficiency in using pipe fabrication and alignment tools such as pipe threaders, cutters, and benders.

- Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in good condition.
