Job Description
- Supervises fabrication, installation and commissioning activities inside the plant.
- Conducts study on modification and installation of the machines and equipment's Conceptualized Project design for approval with the Department-in-charge
- Conducts theoretical computations and analysis on the equipment and materials to be used in the projects.
- Assist Mechanical designer in completion of approved mechanical design plans and shop drawings.
- Prepares the Project costing and Material for requisitions and in-charge with the inspection of the delivered Materials for projects.
- Prepares Daily task monitoring and Material Requisition monitoring reports.
- Prepares as-built plans of the completed project.
- Provides technical support on all mechanical related works inside the plant.
- Upgrading the equipment on all production lines and developing new machines.
- Completing assigned design tasks as scheduled.
- Assisting the department manager in all design work.
- Following HSE rules and mastering the company's major environmental factors and potential dangers, monitoring and identify the department's environmental factors and potential dangers.
- Completing the work assigned from the above level.
- ABILITY TO TROUBLESHOOT INDEPENDENTLY AND RESOLVE PROBLEMS IN AN EFFICIENT AND TIMELY MANNER
- PREPARE SPARES FOR MECHANICAL RELATED MACHINERY AND FORECAST THE MAINTENANCE NEEDS OF CRITICAL EQUIPMENT INCLUDING EXPECTED WEAR/TEAR AND DEGRADATION
- FAMILIAR WITH HYDRAULIC DRAWINGS, DESIGNS AND CONTROL COMPONENTS
- ABILITY TO PREPARE MAINTENANCE LOGS, CRITICAL SPARES OF EQUIPMENT AND MAINTAIN DOCUMENTATION
- ABILITY TO SELECT APPROPRIATE HYDRAULIC COMPONENTS AND SEALS ACCORDING TO PERFORMANCE AND REQUIREMENTS OF EQUIPMENT
- KNOWLEDGE OF AUTOCAD AND SOLIDWORKS WILL BE A PLUS POINT
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Certain Working experience is required in designing of mechanical equipment.
- Familiar with office software such as Word and Excel as well as CAD in addition to related professional knowledge.
- Knowledge in Arabic and English is an advantage.
