Job Description
- Operation and maintenance of production machinery such as blowers, injection machine, air compressor, air dryer, cooling tower, water chiller, bowl cutter, steam room, vacuum sealer
- Perform Planned Preventive Maintenance and frequency schedules.
- Servicing electrical equipment and mechanical equipment.
- Replacement of defective parts and commissioning.
- Monitoring of all instruments, gauges, actuators, temperature and pressure
- Troubleshooting, re-wiring of control panel and upgrading.
- Installation of servo motor, servo amplifier, VFD drive, proximity sensor, photo sensor, pneumatic valve, hydraulic valve
- Checking belt tension, gear box, rotary union
- Basic working in PLC programming and modification make and manage logs or reports for all repairs and maintenance of company machines.
- Ensure that all factory machines including filler machines, vacuum bowl cutter, smoke house, cooling tower, generator and boiler are in good condition to minimize prolonged downtime.
- Maintenance of the freezer and aircon equipment in supermarkets and storage.
- Perform installation, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of industrial electrical systems and equipment.
- Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on machines including blow molding, injection molding, compressors, chillers, cooling towers and labelling machines.
- install and calibrate electrical components such as VFD drives, soft starters, servo motors, amplifiers, sensors, and pneumatic/hydraulic valves.
- monitor , diagnose, and repair equipment based on instrument readings (Temperature, pressure, flow meters, transducers etc.)
- Assists in the modification and programming of PLC systems for machine optimization.
- perform regular inspections and ensure compliance with electrical safety standards.
- provide immediate responses during electrical or mechanical breakdowns to minimize downtime.
- support operational teams by training and guiding junior technicians
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Electrical/Electronic) or similar fields.
- Diploma in industrial electrical, electrical, mechatronics or industrial technology.
- Must be in good health with no pre-existing medical condition.
- Must have experience in refrigeration and air-con industry
- knowledgeable in electrical installation and maintenance.
- knowledgeable in PLC programming (Basic), VFD setup and troubleshooting, Industrial refrigeration systems and compressors, preventive maintenance scheduling.
- holder of valid TESDA national certificate NCII or NCIII in relevant fields (Electrical, RAC servicing, Mechatronics)
- Able to work independently with minimal supervision
- Willing to work extended hours during emergency maintenance
