Job Description
- Oversee blasting, surface preparation, painting, and coating operations in dry dock, onboard vessels, and fabrication areas.
- Conduct inspections in line with NACE and FROSIO standards
- Monitor environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, dew point) during coating applications
- Check surface cleanliness, profile, and coating quality including DFT (Dry Film Thickness), adhesion, and curing.
- Identify and resolve coating defects such as blistering, pinholes, overspray, or peeling
- Work closely with project teams, subcontractors, paint manufacturers, and surveyors
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Industrial) or similar fields.
- Willing to undergo Japanese Language Training
- Holder of Japanese Language Proficiency Test (JLPT) N4 or Higher is Advantage
