Job Description
- Remote Access Services (RAS): Knowledge of configuring RAS on Windows Server for VPN access
- Monitoring & Logging: Use of tools like Meraki Insights, Windows Event Viewer, and third-party monitoring solutions for proactive issue detection.
- Backup & Disaster Recovery: Experience with backup solutions for both Windows Server and MDaemon, and the ability to test and restore from backups.
- Access Control: Implementing least privilege principles, managing user permissions, and auditing access logs.
- Patch Management: Keeping servers and endpoints updated with security patches.
- Email Security: Configuring SPF, DKIM, and DMARC for MDaemon to prevent spoofing and phishing.
- Documentation: Keeping network diagrams, SOPs, and change logs up to date. Problem Solving: Diagnosing complex issues across multiple systems and locations. Communication: Explaining technical issues clearly to non-technical stakeholders.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 4 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Computer Science/Information technology; Engineering(Computer/Telecommunication); Science & Technology or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Expected to manage networks independently and troubleshoot issues.
- Able to plan, design, and implement network architecture
- Windows Server Administration: Server / VMware / Hyper-V installation and configuration, Proficiency in Active Directory, Group Policy, DNS, DHCP, and file/print services.
- VPN Configuration & Troubleshooting: Experience with site-to-site and client VPNs, especially using Meraki MX appliances and protocols like IKEv2, L2TP, or AnyConnect2.
- Firewall Management: Ability to configure and manage Meraki Firewall rules, NAT, port forwarding, and Layer 3/7 filtering via the Meraki Dashboard
- Email Server Management: Familiarity with MDaemon Email Server, including user management, spam filtering, SSL/TLS configuration, and backup strategies.
- Networking Fundamentals: Solid grasp of TCP/IP, subnetting, VLANs, routing, and switching.

- CompTIA Network+. Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).
- Microsoft Certified: Windows Server Hybrid Administrator Associate. CompTIA Server+
- AWS Certified SysOps Administrator – Associate. VMware Certified Professional – Network Virtualization (VCP-NV)
- Preferably with MERAKI background
- Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
