Job Description
- Supervise and coordinate daily activities of mechanical crews, including fitters, welders, and riggers. Interpret and implement mechanical drawings, isometrics, and technical specifications.
- Allocate manpower, tools, and equipment to meet project requirements. Monitor progress to ensure timely completion of work schedules. Ensure safe working practices are followed, enforcing site safety procedures.
- Inspect mechanical installations, piping, and equipment to ensure compliance with quality standards. Assist in troubleshooting and resolving technical or installation issues.
- Report daily progress, resource utilization, and worksite issues to supervisors or engineers. Coordinate with QA/QC teams to ensure inspections and testing are completed.
- Support commissioning and handover activities when required. Train and mentor junior staff to improve team capability and efficiency.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- No minimum educational attainment is required for this position.
