Job Description
- Sales and Marketing Executive works closely with the S & M Assistant Manager in running the Sales & Marketing Department in general.
- S&M Executive is directly responsible for replying all the general inquiries of the Sales & Marketing department.
- In doing so, S&M executive should portrays Bandos brand promise of being the Island of hospitality
- Directly Responsible for Maintain written communication of all S&M arrangement
- Understand all the general information of Bandos Maldives. This includes but not limited to FACTS and Figures of business outlook, Occupancy, Bandos Competitors, Promotional offers, special events organized for Bandos guest.
- Conducting follow up of guest requests from other departments. Conducting follow up on all verbal, website and email inquiries concerning sales and marketing and new marketing opportunities
- Attend and reply guest complaints and coordinate with relevant departments
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Sales & Marketing or similar fields.
- Must have completed a Diploma or Degree in Marketing or Hospitality & Tourism.
- Must have a ‘B’ grade and above in GCE O/L English Language or similar qualification.
- Must have a ‘C’ grade and above in SSE Dhivehi, Islam Language or similar qualification.
- One or two years of experience in performing Sales and Marketing function in the hospitality/travel and tourism industry including experience in the supervisory level.
- Familiar with computer applications such as; MS OFFICE Package. Skilled on use of Opera System. Excellent time management skills.
- Should have good knowledge of principles of Marketing. Must be creative and innovative to contribute to develop marketing materials.
- Superior communication and inter-personal skills, strong attention to detail, excellent organizational and supervision skills, flexibility and ability to interact with people from diverse cultures and backgrounds.
- Comfortable and effective at learning new skills, prepared to take initiative and responsibility while collaborating successfully with a team.
