Job Description
- HAS KNOWLEDGE OF SAEP 385( PIPING, EQUIP, STEEL, etc.)
- for piping systems is responsible for verifying that all materials, fabrication, and installations meet specified codes, standards, and project requirements.
- This includes conducting inspections at various stages of the process, from material receipt to final installation, and ensuring proper documentation and reporting.
- Overseeing the fabrication process, including welding, ensuring adherence to approved procedures, WPS (Welding Procedure Specification), and welder qualifications.
- Verifying proper installation of piping systems, including support structures, alignment, and dimensional accuracy, in accordance with drawings and specifications.
- Maintaining detailed inspection records, generating reports on non-conformances, and tracking the resolution of identified issues.
- Collaborating with other teams, such as welding, NDT (Non-Destructive Testing), and construction, to ensure seamless inspection processes.
- Ensuring compliance with relevant codes, standards (e.g., ASME, API), and project-specific requirements.
- Significant experience in piping inspection, including material receiving, fabrication, welding, and installation, is crucial.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.
- OIL AND GAS FIELD EXPERIENCE IS A MUST.
- EX ARAMCO APPROVED CANDIDATES WILL BE THE 1ST PRIORITY
- Experience in quality control, with a focus on PWHT
