Job Description
- Prepare wooden ormetal furniture surfaces by sanding, cleaning, and priming.
- Mix and match paint colors, stains, or varnishes according to design specifications.
- Apply paint using brushes, rollers, or spray guns to achieve a smooth, even finish.
- Perform decorative painting techniques such as distressing, glazing, or antique effects.
- Repair minor surface imperfections like scratches, dents, or chips before painting.
- Ensure proper drying times between coats and final finish applications.
- Maintain and clean painting tools, spray equipment, and workspace.
- Inspect finished furniture for quality, consistency, and flawless appearance.
- Follow safety protocols and wear protective gear during painting tasks.
- Work closely with supervisors or designers to meet project requirements.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Candidate must have a valid passport.
- Candidate must know how to communicate in English.
- Knowledge of various paints, varnishes, stains, and wood treatments.
- Skilled in sanding, priming, and applying coatings on wood and metal.
- Ability to mix and match colors accurately and Experience with decorative finishes such as distressing and glazing.
- Proficient in using hand tools and power tools related to painting.
- Strong attention to detail and high-quality craftsmanship.
- Physical stamina for lifting, standing, and repetitive motion
- Ability to maintain and troubleshoot painting equipment and Commitmenttoquality control and meeting deadlines.
