Job Description
- Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual service plan.
- Serves meals to residents in the dining room or apartments and may assist in preparing meals following preplanned menus.
- Encourages residents to eat a proper diet and take adequate fluids while respecting the resident’s right to free choice and records and reports changes in resident’s eating habits to the supervisor.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 1 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- For first time TITP Careworker applicant: passer of N4 Japanese Language Proficiency Test and must have NC2 in Caregiving or graduate of Medical related course
- For first time SSW Carewworker applicant: passer of N4 Japanese Language Proficiency Test and passed the Prometric Nursing Care Skills Evaluation Tests (for Skills & Language categories)
- For Ex-Japan Technical Trainee who will apply for SSW Careworker (provided under the same industry): must present a Caregiving Training Certificate and Senmonkyuu Kaigo Exam Result
