Job Description
- Formulate recipes for production of smallgoods like sausages, hams, smoked chicken, longanisa, beef jerky, salami.
- Train factory staff to use machinery and technical aspects of smallgoods manufacturing and to implement new, efficient and safe work practices.
- Ensure proper records and data entry of raw materials, production, cash sales and other important data required by admin.
- Provide high quality commercial and operational advice to senior management on all aspects of operation, sales and planning.
- Ordering of raw materials such as flavors, preservatives, meats, spare parts and packaging materials.
- Improve and maintain the quality and hygiene of the butchery section – staff, equipment and procedures.
- Selecting and preparing meat to produce smallgoods
- Planning operational and sales budget for weekly and monthly review.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Business Studies/Administration/Management; Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management; Sales & Marketing or similar fields.
- Degree in Food Science, Management, Industrial Production or a directly related discipline strong preferred;
- Minimum of 2 years experience in smallgoods production with an established sausage manufacturer.
