Job Description
- Measure, cut, shape, and assemble timber and wood-based products using both manual tools and machinery. Construct and fit doors, windows, frames, staircases, cabinets, and other timber fixtures. o Perform finish carpentry work, including sanding.
- Operate various woodworking machines (e.g., saws, planers, jointers, routers, sanders, CNC machines) to cut, shape, and finish timber components.
- Inspect work for accuracy, quality, and conformance to specifications. Rectify any defects or imperfections in the woodwork.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Civil); Engineering(Industrial) or similar fields.
- Responsible for crafting, assembling, and installing timber components for a variety of custom-made wood products, including doors, windows, frames, staircases, cabinetry, and furniture.
