Job Description
- Cake Artist may have to use fractions mixing icing or use math to create elaborate cake decorations.
- Attention to Detail: Cake Artist need to keep a close eye on what they are doing when creating decorations, to make sure the design is uniform. Intricate designs require keen eyes.
- Artistic Ability: Thinking up and executing elaborate designs requires an artistic eye
- Stamina: Cake Artist are often on their feet for long periods of time.
- Color Vision: Being able to see different colors and hues when mixing icings and creating designs is critical.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or similar fields.
- Diploma in Any Culinary or any related courses with good standards; preferably with experience in international brands.
- Qualification in Kitchen Production or Management will be an advantage
- Comprehensive knowledge of kitchen hygiene practices and occupational health and safety standards will be essential
- Basic Computer Skills in MS Office, and Recipe Maintenance System is preferred
