Job Description
- Colect explosives from the warehouse at the beginning of each shift.
- Use explosives in the blasting process as instructed by the employer.
- Strictly adhere tomine safetyregulationsand rules regarding explosive materials.
- Work closely with the beam miner to inspect and secure the work area before ore beaming begins.
- Ensure proper documentation and compliance with legal andcompanyrequirementsrelated to explosive use
- Ensure that alblasting activities are performedunder the supervision of a qualified miner or driller.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Familiarity with the safe handling, transportation, and storage of explosives.
- Good knowledge o fmine safetyproceduresand explosive-related regulations
- Candidate must have a passport.
- Candidate must know how to communicate in English.
- Physical fitness and ability to work in confined, underground environments.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to follow strict safety instructions.
- Ability to read and interpret technical plans and instructions.
- Basic mechanical skills or experience with blasting tools and equipment is a plus.
