Assists residents with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, transferring and getting to and from activities and meals according to the individual service plan.
Serves meals to residents in the dining room or apartments and may assist in preparing meals following preplanned menus.
Encourages residents to eat a proper diet and take adequate fluids while respecting the resident’s right to free choice and records and reports changes in resident’s eating habits to the supervisor.

A minimum of 1 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.

For first time TITP Careworker applicant: passer of N4 Japanese Language Proficiency Test and must have NC2 in Caregiving or graduate of Medical related course
For first time SSW Carewworker applicant: passer of N4 Japanese Language Proficiency Test and passed the Prometric Nursing Care Skills Evaluation Tests (for Skills & Language categories)
For Ex-Japan Technical Trainee who will apply for SSW Careworker (provided under the same industry): must present a Caregiving Training Certificate and Senmonkyuu Kaigo Exam Result
