Job Description
- 1. Responsible for process ownership of Die Prep machine in assembly line
- 2. Establish and setup new Die Prep assembly process capabilities and materials including hand-on equipment setup.
- 3. Monitor performance, quality and reliability of Die Prep process. Identify problems, recommendation, and implementation of corrective and preventive actions.
- 4. Support engineering build requests, ramp ups and platform extensions.
- 5. Monitor and improving the yield of die prep process, including cost reduction activities.
- 6. Identifies problems and improvements projects, establishes targets, organizes resources, defines technical requirements and develops plans to achieve its cost and quality objectives
- 7. Oversees the planning, development, implementation and maintenance of manufacturing methods, processes, and operations for new and existing products.
- 8. Ensures the effective use of materials, equipments, and personnel in producing quality products at minimum costs.
- 9. Improve capacity and operational efficiency for Die Prep process.
- 10. Coordinate new processes and support new product introduction
- 11. Continuous source for new technology to enhance the technical competency for manufacturing
- 12. Initiate and drive yield improvement projects in cooperation with Equipment Engineering and Yield Team.
- 13. Hire, develops and coaches subordinates for continues improvement and career development.
- 14. Any other duties assigned from time to time.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Engineering(Others) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- 3. Experience in die prep process. 4. Good knowledge of FMEA, DOE, SPEC and risk analysis.
- 5. Independent with good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a cross functional environment with people at all levels
- Manage a group of Die Prep Engineers and Technicians, support Manufacturing to meet Output and Yield. Set direction for Engineers and Technicians, align with Business Unit KPI.
- Support production line in achieving Quality, Delivery, Cycle Time, and Process Improvement, Cost Saving and Improve Equipment Stability such MTBF and MTBA.
- Support NPI build on new recipe creation for new device, data collection and Qual for new device
