Job Description

  • Conduct inspections of HVAC and mechanical installations to ensure compliance with project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
  • Review and assess installation practices for ductwork, piping, insulation, and ventilation systems.
  • Apply codes and standards such as SMACNA, Uniform Mechanical Code, NFPA 90A, ASHRAE Handbooks, or their equivalents during inspections and evaluations.
  • Verify electrical components related to HVAC systems, ensuring proper materials, methods, and installation in hazardous locations.
  • Document inspection findings, prepare reports, and coordinate with construction and engineering teams to resolve issues.
  • Ensure adherence to quality assurance procedures throughout the project lifecycle.

Job Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4 year(s) of working experience is required.
  • Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Petroleum/Oil/Gas) or similar fields.
  • Male applicants are preferred for this role.
  • B.S. in Engineering with 4+ years of experience OR Technical Diploma with 8+ years in inspection.
  • Proficient in codes such as SMACNA, Uniform Mechanical Code, NFPA 90A, ASHRAE Handbooks, or equivalent standards.
  • Knowledge of electrical installations, materials, methods, specifications, and hazardous location identification in the oil and gas or petrochemical industries.
  • Aramco Certification, SAP, and CBT (if available).
