Job Description
- Operate asphalt paving machines to lay asphalt on roads, driveways, and other surfaces.
- Set up and calibrate paving machines to ensure proper asphalt application and smoothness.
- Monitor the paving process to ensure even distribution and correct compaction of asphalt.
- Coordinate with other workers and supervisors to ensure efficient workflow and quality control.
- Adjust machine settings to accommodate changes in materials, temperature, or surface conditions.
- Follow safety guidelines and protocols to prevent accidents and ensure a safe working environment.
- Ensure proper clean-up of the worksite and equipment at the end of each job.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Candidates must have a passport.
- Candidate must know how to communicate in English.
- Proven experience operating asphalt paving machines or similar heavy machinery.
- Knowledge of asphalt paving processes, equipment, and safety protocols.
- Ability to set up, calibrate, and operate the paving machine to achieve desired results.
- Strong attention to detail to ensure smooth and accurate paving.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting on the paving machine.
- Physical stamina to work long hours in outdoor conditions and handle heavy equipment.
