Job Description
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, including changing bed linens, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing supplies.
- Ensure the cleanliness of public areas, including hallways, restrooms, and lobbies.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management.
- Restock and maintain housekeeping carts with appropriate supplies.
- Assist with laundry duties, including washing, drying, and folding linens and towels.
- Ensure that all guest requests are promptly handled and that rooms are prepared for check-in according to company standards.
- Maintain a high level of customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction and addressing any special requests or concerns. Assist with deep cleaning tasks and special cleaning projects as required.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management; Hospitality/Tourism Management or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Previous experience in housekeeping or cleaning services is preferred, but not required.
- Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.
- Ability to manage time efficiently and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to lift heavy objects, such as linen bags and cleaning supplies.
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
