Job Description
- Prepare & Cook: Prepare and cook high-quality dishes in your section, ensuring consistency and presentation are maintained.
- Team Leadership: Supervise and support junior chefs, kitchen assistants, and other kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations.
- Quality Control: Monitor the quality of ingredients, ensure proper food storage, and minimize wastage.
- Cleanliness & Hygiene: Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards in your section and throughout the kitchen.
- Menu Development: Assist in the creation of seasonal menus and special dishes while maintaining the restaurant's concept.
- Stock Management: Help manage stock levels and assist in ordering ingredients and supplies when required.
- Health & Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations, including food safety standards and guidelines.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Proven experience as a Chef De Partie or in a similar role within a high-quality kitchen.
- Strong knowledge of culinary techniques, kitchen equipment, and health and safety regulations.
- Ability to work efficiently and calmly under pressure.
- Excellent time-management and organizational skills.
- A passion for food and an eye for detail in both taste and presentation.
- Strong communication and team-working skills.
- Culinary degree or relevant qualification (preferred, but not mandatory).
