Job Description
- Provide technical support to the business using your specialized skills.
- Maintain and repair mechanical equipment using workshop machines, including lathes, milling, drilling machines, and welding equipment.
- Collaborate with team members and offer on-the-job coaching and assistance.
- Solve technical issues by interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and specifications.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and company quality assurance practices.
- Adhere to OHS principles and Monadelphous safety standards.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a graduate of a four-year undergraduate course.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Fitter in a similar role within Oil & Gas, Mining, Power, Marine, or Manufacturing industries.
- Welding experience (highly desirable).
- Strong understanding of technical and professional skills in mechanical processes.
- Ability to Read and interpret Technical Drawings and Diagrams.
- Experience in Shaft lines (including associated components) removal and installation including taking and compiling detailed measurements accurately.
- Excellent communication skills and a team-focused mindset.
- High attention to detail with a commitment to safety and quality.
- Must be at least a graduate of 1-year vocational course or Completed at least 1 year in college.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License.
