Job Description
- Assist the Executive Chef and Sous Chef in all aspects of kitchen operations.
- Prepare and cook high-quality dishes to the required standard.
- Ensure that all food is prepared in a timely manner and served at the correct temperature.
- Manage and maintain kitchen equipment and ensure that it is kept clean and in good working order.
- Monitor and control food waste and kitchen expenses.
- Follow all health and safety guidelines and food hygiene regulations.
- Assist with the creation of new menu items and specials. Train and mentor junior members of the kitchen team.
- Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure that guests receive a high-quality dining experience.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management; Hospitality/Tourism Management; Others or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role within a premium dining establishment.
- Ability to work well under pressure and meet tight deadlines.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team.
- Fluency in English is a must, a college or culinary diploma is required.
Additional Information
- We need COMMI 1 ( ITALIAN CUISINE ) with at least 2 yrs experience.
