Job Description
- Safely and effectively operates a range of machinery, including Excavators, Loaders, Skid Steers, Water Carts, Tipper Trucks, Rollers, Graders, and Vac Trucks, as directed by Site Supervisors.
- Conduct daily pre-start inspections of machinery, plant, and equipment to ensure safe operation.
- Follow operational guidelines, levels, and survey points when operating machines.
- Participate in pre-start meetings to review safety protocols and site requirements.
- Ensure compliance with all HSEQ (Health, Safety, Environment, Quality) policies and procedures.
- Report hazards, incidents, and nonconformances as required, and participate in incident investigations.
- Contribute to the ongoing development and implementation of HSEQ processes as needed
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
- Relevant machinery license and competency for operating Excavators, Loaders, Skid Steers, Water Carts, Tipper Trucks, Rollers, Graders, and Vac Trucks
- Proven experience in operating machinery on construction or industrial sites.
- Strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and communicate well with supervisors and colleagues.
- Must be at least a graduate of 1-year vocational course or Completed at least 1 year in college.
- Must have a valid Driver’s License
