Job Description
- • Assists in daily operations of the dairy farm.
- • Feeding and caring for dairy cows and calves
- • Milking cows and monitoring milk production
- • Operating Milk equipment to milk cows. • Cleaning and maintaining farm facilities.
- • Performs general maintenance on dairy facilities. • Maintains sanitary conditions in all dairy facilities
- • Assisting in breeding and calving processes • Monitoring and maintaining herd health.
- • Treating and caring for sick cows. • Observes dairy cattle for any signs of sickness or disorders.
- • Operating Farm Tractors and equipment • Ensure that all farming and milking equipment is properly maintained. • Grass Maintenance
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Agriculture or similar fields.
- • Graduate of BS Agriculture major in Animal Science or equivalent.
- • With at least 3 years and up experience working on a dairy farm. • Knowledge and skills in Farm and Basic Farm Maintenance
- • Experience working on a dairy farm. • Knowledge of dairy farm operations
- • Physical stamina and ability to work in various weather conditions. • Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
- • Preferably with dairy farm experience abroad (e.g. in New Zealand, Japan, Australia, Canada, Latin America)
- • Knows modern milking systems.
