Job Description
- Assist in the preparation of Japanese hot kitchen dishes such as tempura, teriyaki, udon, donburi, and other menu items.
- Operate and maintain kitchen equipment, including fryers, grills, and stovetops, safely and efficiently.
- Properly measure, portion, and prepare ingredients.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment in the kitchen.
- Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service.
- Actively seek opportunities to learn about Japanese culinary techniques and ingredients.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 10 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be at least a high school graduate.
- Prior experience as a cook or kitchen assistant is preferred, but not mandatory.
- Basic understanding of cooking techniques and kitchen safety practices
- Interest in Japanese cuisine and willingness to learn traditional cooking methods.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to maintaining high food quality.
- Positive attitude, punctuality, and a strong work ethic.
