Job Description
- Assemble and install pipes, fittings, and fixtures according to project drawings and specifications.
- Measure, cut, thread, and bend pipes using appropriate tools and equipment.
- Read and interpret piping blueprints, isometric drawings, and layout plans to complete installations accurately.
- Test piping systems for leaks, ensuring all joints and connections meet quality and safety standards.
- Collaborate with welders and other team members to ensure seamless installation and alignment.
- Adhere to health, safety, and environmental (HSE) guidelines, promoting a safe work environment.
- Maintain tools and equipment in good condition and report any issues promptly.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Engineering(Mechanical) or similar fields.
- Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Pipe Fitter in the Oil & Gas industry.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, blueprints, and piping layouts.
- Strong knowledge of various piping systems, materials, and fitting techniques.
- Ability to use pipe fitting tools and machinery with accuracy and precision.
- Basic understanding of safety standards in the construction and oil & gas industries.
- Good communication and teamwork skills to work effectively with other trades on-site.
