Job Description
- Accurately code inpatient records: Utilize ICD-10-CM or equivalent for precise coding and statistical compilation of inpatient records in an acute care hospital setting.
- Ensure compliance with international standards: Apply experience with international accreditation to maintain high-quality coding practices and meet accreditation requirements.
- Analyze and compile medical data: Perform statistical analysis and compilation of medical records to support hospital reporting and decision-making.
- Collaborate with healthcare teams: Work with medical staff to ensure accurate and comprehensive documentation of patient records.
- Leverage regional expertise: Utilize experience in the Saudi healthcare system to ensure compliance with local regulations and standards.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Nursing or similar fields.
- 2-3 years experience in an acute care hospital Medical Record Department as a Coder of inpatient records, inclusive of ICD10-CM coding or equivalent and statistical compilation.
- International accreditation experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Clinical Coding or HIM
- Must have work experience in Saudi Arabia.
