Job Description
- may perform tasks, such as crop baling or hay bucking.
- operate stationary equipment to perform post-harvest tasks, such as husking, shelling, threshing, and ginning.
- mechanical harvester which move along the rows of cane removing the leafy tops of the cane and cutting the stalk into short pieces or "billets". Billets are loaded into bins which are towed alongside the harvester.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Agriculture or similar fields.
- With at least 5 years of work experience in mechanical harvester operations
- maintenance in sugar cane fields to drive the mechanical harvesters.
