Job Description
- Conducts daily infection surveillance activities to collect and record data on the presence of infection among patients and personnel
- Investigates and analyzes Health Care Acquired Infections in conjunction with the Microbiologist and prepares Health Acquired Infection monthly report for the hospital Infection Control Committee
- Reviews and updates policies/procedures with the Infection Control Head Department and Infection Control Committee members
- Maintain close Liaison with Employee health Clinic of the Hospital to ascertain the presence of infection in hospital personnel
- Acts as resource person on Infection Control issues and support for nurses in clinical areas
- Serves as an adviser to department head on departmental policies and procedures related to infection control
- provides education on Infection Control practice to all staff
- Prepares monthly statistics and other reports on Infection Control in the Hospital
- Performs other applicable tasks and duties within the realm of knowledge, skills and abilities
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Prof'l License(Passed Board/Bar/Prof'l License Exam) holder.
- Female applicants are preferred for this role.
