- Design Concept Development: Create innovative and luxurious interior design concepts for chocolate retail shops that reflect the brand's identity, values, and target demographic.
- Space Planning: Utilize space planning techniques to optimize the layout and flow of retail spaces, ensuring efficient use of space while maintaining a sense of luxury and exclusivity.
- Branding Integration: Integrate branding elements, such as logos, colors, and visual merchandising displays, into the interior design to enhance brand recognition and create a cohesive brand experience.
- Material and Finishes Selection: Select high-quality materials, finishes, furnishings, and lighting fixtures that convey elegance, sophistication, and craftsmanship, creating an inviting and upscale ambiance for customers.

- Compliance and Regulations: Ensure that interior design plans comply with building codes, regulations, and health and safety standards, and coordinate with architects and contractors to address any compliance issues.
- Budget Management: Develop project budgets and timelines, and work closely with project managers and procurement teams to source materials and furnishings within budgetary constraints without compromising quality or design integrity.
- Client Collaboration: Collaborate closely with the chocolate company's stakeholders, including executives, marketing teams, and store managers, to understand their vision, requirements, and feedback throughout the design process.
- Site Supervision: Oversee the implementation of design plans during the construction or renovation phase, conducting site visits to ensure that design intent is executed accurately and addressing any issues or modifications as needed.
Job Qualifications
- A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
- Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Architecture / Urban Studies or similar fields.
- Education: Bachelor's degree in interior design, architecture, or a related field from an accredited institution.
- Experience: Proven experience in luxury retail interior design, with a portfolio showcasing successful projects in the retail or hospitality sector, preferably including experience with boutique or high-end chocolate shops.
- Creativity: Strong creative skills and a passion for luxury design, with a keen eye for detail and an ability to innovate while adhering to brand guidelines and customer preferences.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, SketchUp), Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign), and other design tools is essential.
- Knowledge: Thorough understanding of luxury retail design principles, including spatial planning, materials selection, lighting design, and visual merchandising techniques.
- Communication: Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to effectively convey design concepts, ideas, and rationale to clients and project stakeholders.
- Collaboration: Strong teamwork and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with crossfunctional teams, including architects, contractors, and suppliers.
- Project Management: Experience in project management, including budgeting, scheduling, and coordination of multiple stakeholders and vendors, is desirable.
- Passion for Chocolate: A genuine passion for chocolate and an understanding of the luxury chocolate market, including trends, consumer preferences, and the importance of creating memorable retail experiences
