Job Description
- At least 2 years’ experience with welding equipment
- Refinery or Industrial Plant Operations: experience with Lock Out/Tag Out/Try Out having high safety standards and knowledge of dangers when working in these types of environments.
- Read blueprints and drawings and take or read measurements to plan layout and procedures.
- Weld components using manual or semi-automatic welding equipment in various positions (vertical, horizontal or overhead).
- Set up components for welding according to specifications (e.g. cut material with powered saws to match measurements).
Qualifications:
A minimum of 2 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Others or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
