Job Description

- To lead, monitor, control and report on the fish grading and fish processing for the Company.
- The Fish Grader is accountable to Production/ Factory Manager and will be responsible for planning, managing and controlling the fish grading either receiving fish stock from fishing vessels or final fish products ready to be packed for customers.
- Conduct quality inspection of fresh and frozen fish before discharge from fishing vessels and other suppliers
- Inspecting and Grading of finished fish products according to the products specification
- Inspect fish raw material and fish products and identify quality issues with the report to the management
- Ensure that different species of fish are recorded and graded so that changing needs of customers are met
- Lead and supervise the processing team to process value added fish products including CO treated tuna products, frozen tuna products and other fish products according to the specification and order requirement
- Provide the professional training to the production staffs to improve the skills including fish grading and fish value processing
- Maximum the value of the raw material and by products. Always comply with the quality assurance policy which set up by the company to meet HACCP PLAN, BRC and SQF requirement
Qualifications:
A minimum of 5 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Bachelor's / College Degree holder in Agriculture or similar fields.
- Must at least have 5 years experience in working as fish grader
- Have a good experience and ability to determine the issues of equipment and machineries and repairs works done by him alone.

- Maximum control the repairs and maintenance cost, Receiving of faulty items for repair, Maintaining of engineering stock cards, Report of all breakdowns and parts used in repair and maintenance.
- Temperature recording and analysis of cold storages and freezers in good function, Stock taken and reconciliation of parts.
- Pursuit of a program to develop and keep improving downtime of the machinery: Department focused, Factory Focused, Negotiating the terms of an agreement with parts suppliers, Making accurate, cost calculations.
- Leading, guiding and training the engineering department staffs, Documentation.
- Core Responsibilities: Order of spares parts and receiving of parts, Supervise and receive all parts supplier documents, Recording of temperature for cold storages, chillers, blast freezer and freezer containers.
- Reduce downtime of machines, Ensure all equipment and machines in factory are of working condition, Coordinate with mechanical equipment operators and provide the guidance to the operators.
- Repairs to factory equipment and machinery is carried on time to meet the smooth fish production, Reconciling of stored spare part inventory with that of physical stock take, Analyse data to anticipate future needs.
- Evaluate suppliers to achieve cost-effective deals and maintain trust relationships, Collaborate with factory production employees and other staff to ensure business goals are metReviewing your department performance, aiming to meet or exceed targets
