Job Description
- In this capacity as Commis I, II or III, you will be responsible for preparing food items in any section of the kitchen according to our standard recipes or as per instructions. Ensuring the operation and kitchen equipment is maintained at a good sta
- Preparing various types of sushi dishes according to established guidelines on quality, portion size, presentation, and food safety. Maintaining a clean work environment in order to prevent food contamination.
- Regularly taking inventory of food supplies and other products. Reporting any problems with kitchen equipment to the manager on duty. Sterilizing all utensils, instruments, and equipment used in sushi preparation before every use.
- Communicating with wait staff to ensure that special requests and food allergy considerations are met.
Qualifications:
A minimum of 3 year(s) of working experience is required.
Candidates must be a Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate holder in Food and Beverage Preparation/Service Management; Hospitality/Tourism Management or similar fields.
Male applicants are preferred for this role.
- Proven experience working in upscale sushi restaurants.
