JOB DESCRIPTION & RESPONSIBILITIES

Performs various duties related to the inspection of landscape construction and maintenance work performed by contractors; performs field inspections of irrigation and landscaping.

Responsibilities:

- Inspects construction of irrigation and landscape improvements.

- Issues correction notices to contractors/developers to correct deficiencies found during inspections. Ensures deficiencies are corrected prior to acceptance of the work; issues correction notices and deficiency notices.

- Monitors irrigation systems including: water use audits, irrigation system scheduling, well systems, meter use reports, renovation and rehabilitation, and emergency repairs.

- Performs administrative tasks associated with the administering of private landscape maintenance contracts, as well as privately constructed landscape improvements.

- Reviews, corrects, and ensures completeness of landscape plan submittals and as-built plans.

- Maintains records of inspection work.

- Performs other related work as required.

- Document nonconformance to specifications, codes and standards, and may be asked to participate in determining appropriate resolution.

- Attention to details and ability to work with various stakeholders will be required.

QUALIFICATIONS & EDUCATION REQUIREMENTSIFICATION

    Diploma in related field with min 5 years’ experience in Landscape.

- Will have knowledge of both the work processes of Architectural Works Inspector and also the use of CAD

systems used to manage documentation of the works.

- Proficient keyboard skills and a working knowledge of MS Windows and related word processing, spreadsheet, and database software are required.

- Good written and oral communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, as well as a demonstrated ability to interact effectively with project personnel and management.
