Medical/Surgical ICU - Must be currently working in an ICU unit with a minimum of 10 beds, taking care of ventilated and non-ventilated patients). Applicants from smaller ICU departments will not be considered and your resume must be very clear in this regard. Successful applicants must be prepared to rotate through ICU, HDU (‘Step Down’ICU) and CCU.
Renal/Hemodialysis - Applicants must have both hemodialysis and renal ward experience (or medical/surgical ward experience which includes renal patients). Must also have experience dialyzing patients at bedside, such as in ER and ICU. If you do not meet these precise specifications your application will not be considered and your resume must be very clear in this regard. Applicants from stand-alone renal dialysis organizations will also not be considered.
OR- Must be currently employed in large, busy operating room suites and must be an all-rounder, having worked in all areas - scrub, circulation, anesthetics and recovery.
Medical and Surgical - Must be working in large, busy wards, handling a wide range of conditions.
MANDATORY APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS:
· Must be a graduate from a four-year BSN Diploma program.
· Must be currently working and have continuously worked for the past 18 months, in the same position as that being applied for, in a tertiary level acute care hospital, containing at least 200 beds.
· Must be very professional in all aspects of work, with the patient always being the primary focus and with the demonstrated evidence of regular attendance at seminars, training courses and workshops, to continuously upgrade skills and knowledge.
· Must be a confident and assertive, autonomously operating nurse, be able to lead and be personally accountable for patient actions taken.
ON OFFER:
· A permanent position - up to retirement age - subject to a successful adaptation and assessment period of 6 weeks (extendable to 12) and a successful probationary period.
· A gross annual salary of €33,388, for a nurse with two years of recognized prior service, after the successful completion of the adaptation and assessment period. The starting salary will be higher depending on the number of years of recognized experience and there are regular salary increments. The salary paid during the adaptation and assessment period will be €26,179.
· Payment of a shift differential.
· An initial Contract of Employment of two years, to comply with immigration regulations.
· €800 contribution towards the total cost of the initial airline ticket from Manila to Dublin and towards the cost of an airline ticket from Dublin to Manila, at the end of the two-year contract.
· Free initial six weeks accommodation for those undertaking adaptation.
· €495 NMBI registration costs reimbursed - €350 Overseas Application Assessment and €145 Overseas Registration Fee.
· Initial entry visa approval to Ireland and related visa processing costs at the Consulate of Ireland in Manila reimbursed - €250 visa approval cost and PhP 5,000 visa processing costs.
· POEA processing costs reimbursed.
· Free Irish Employment Permit. The normal fee for the Employment Permit is €1,000.
· No Placement Fee.
· 25 days annual vacation, plus 9 public holidays.
· 39 hours per week, on a rostered basis.
