Key Task and Responsibilities: 
1. Prepare food and feed animals, fish or birds at schedule intervals 
2. Clean and disinfect cages, pens and surrounding areas 
3. Shampoo, clip and groom animals 
4. Assist Veterinarians and animal health technologists and technicians to inoculate and treat 
animals 
5. Assist animal breeders to handle and nurture animals 
6. Assist scientists and researchers in conducting laboratory test with animals 
7. Monitor and document animal behavior 
8. Train dogs to obey commands and perform specific duties in response to signals.
