Purpose:

    To establish financial status by developing and implementing systems for collecting, analyzing, verifying, and reporting financial information.

Qualification:

    Bachelor of Science in Accountancy, CPA or equivalent qualification, advantage if with Master’s degree.

Experience:

   At least 3 years’ experience as Accounting Manager, Good verbal and written communication skills, strong interpersonal/supervisory skills.

Skills:

   Adept user of ERP systems like SAP, Microsoft dynamics GP, Oracle, Advanced MS Excel skills including Vlookups and pivot tables. Attention to details and ability to analyze         (thoroughness), financial management, professionalism and ethical conduct.

   Competencies & personal traits:

   Excellent knowledge of accounting regulations and procedures, including IFRS.

   Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.

   Oversee the daily accounting activities.

   Supervise the work of the Accountant (including but not limited to cash/bank recon, payable transactions, recording to books of accounts, etc.

   Review entries on payments/collections/petty cash to ensure accuracy of posting. Prepare/post entries for month-end closing (accruals/amortizations/depreciation)

Responsibilities:

   Ensure an accurate and timely monthly and year end close

   Ensure timely reporting of all monthly financial information Ensure accurate and timely processing of pay transactions Support budget and forecasting activities

   Regular reconciliation of balance sheet accounts

   Monitor and analyzes department work to develop more efficient procedures and use of use of resources while maintaining a high level of accuracy.

   Respond to inquiries from Head Office regarding financial results, & other reports required

   Coordinate with external auditor to ensure clean and timely yearend audit

  Provide training to new and existing staff as needed
