Position Summary: This job contributes to the company’s success by providing
legendary customer service to all customers. This job creates one key element of the
restaurant experience by providing customers with prompt service, quality beverages
and products, and by maintaining a clean and comfortable retail area environment.
? Inspect all coffee area / retail surfaces to ensure that all areas are safe and sanitary in
accordance with food handling procedures; keep area clean throughout shift and follow
cleaning procedures at end of shift.
? Prepare all beverages as ordered by customers and wait staff.
? Assure presentation of all beverages meets quality standards in place.
? Estimate expected beverage consumption based on previous trends and developments.
? Inventory, recommend orders and properly store, date and rotate beverage items.
? Organize ingredient storage and all supplies and equipment.
Main Responsibilities, Required Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
? Deliver legendary customer service to all customers. Bring a “customer comes
first” attitude at all times.
? Discover and respond to customer needs.
? Provide quality beverages and food products consistently for all customers by
adhering to all recipe and presentation standards.
? Follow health, safety and sanitation guidelines for all products.
? Act with integrity, honesty, and with knowledge.
? Maintain a calm exterior presence during periods of high volume or unusual
? Anticipate customer and store needs by constantly evaluating environment and
customers for cues.
? Communicate information to manager so that the team can respond as necessary
to create the good environment during each shift.
? Follow company operational policies and procedures, including those for cash
handling and safety and security, to ensure the safety of all during each shift.
? Maintain a clean and organized workspace so that all workers can locate
resources and product as needed.
? Assist with new worker training by positively reinforcing successful performance
and giving respectful and encouraging coaching as needed.
? Maintain regular and consistent attendance and punctuality.
