1) Initiate the identification and evaluation of potential new product business opportunities to assess which will increase EIC revenues and/or the strength of EIC balance sheet which are most feasible from financial, operational and technical perspective.
2) Identify and cultivate relationships with potential partners in order to pursue potential new product business expansion initiatives while also sharing the risk and acquiring expertise from other stakeholders.
3) Initiate and develop new product business proposals and participate in the feasibility studies of such proposals. Develop new markets for the company products.
4) Search for new product business opportunities through market studies, attending exhibitions, conferences and through internal requests from related company management.
5) Conducting initial evaluation and assessment on every new product business development project proposals.
6) Develops negotiating strategies and positions by studying integration of new venture with company strategies and operations; examining risks and potentials; estimating partners' needs and goals related to new products.
7) Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments
8) Screens potential new product business deals by analyzing market strategies, deal requirements, potential, and financials; evaluating options; resolving internal priorities; recommending equity investments

Minimum 10-15 years of experience as Business Development Manager in Transformer or Switchgear Manufacturing industry.

Management Skills, Leadership Skills, Finance background, Sales background, Negotiation skills. Has the ability to work under pressure and adepts easily to changed situations / environments and keep pace with changing technology.

BS Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent and Master’s Degree in Marketing or Business Administration
