- Carrying out all Manual Arc Welding activities at Repair Stations
- Ensuring Defects are completely removed before any Welding Operations are started
- Ensuring the welding is accurate and centrally aligned to the Joint
- Ensure good quality, defect free welds are produced
- Checking the quality of Grinding on the Pipes is Acceptable Following the Approved Repair Welding procedure for the Pipes
- Ensuring Welding Electrodes are kept in strict accordance with the Procedure Monitor Pipe Movement towards the Hydro-Test Area
- Undertake Periodic Welder Approval Tests to prove competency
- Informing Line Supervisor of any Welding Machinery Issues
- Ensuring Equipment is operated efficiently and safely Monitor General House Keeping in the Repair area
