Job Summary The main responsibilities of the job holder are to provide clinical pharmacy services, including advising health care providers on matters pertaining to drug selection while assessing for optimal drug therapy, dosage regimen, effective administration and drug therapy monitoring; and participate in the development and delivery of continuing education programs for pharmacy, patient care services, medical staff and students. They may also be providing non-clinical pharmacy services in another part of the pharmacy service [Patient / Technical or Quality Assurance (P/T/QA) service].

Essential Education: QU Pharmd fresh graduate. Advance Pharmacy Degree (APD)* and 1 year hospital pharmacy experience as clinical pharmacist after completion of APD. PharmD or BS Pharmacy from recognized Pharmacy Program with two years hospital pharmacy experience in clinical pharmacist role. Advance Pharmacy Degree (APD)*: For clinical positions this includes Accredited graduates of Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) or clinically relevant MSc (e.g. Master degree in Hospital or clinical pharmacy) or an Accredited hospital residency program *APD: For clinical positions this includes Accredited graduates for Doctor of Pharmacy (pharmD) or clinically relevant MSc (e.g. Master degree in Hospital or Clinical Pharmacy) or an Accredited hospital residency program.
