Minimum of 5 years working experience in metallurgical laboratory testing experience.
2 years full time training in chemistry.

Job Description:

Carries out metallurgical test on one samples.
Includes receiving and checking samples following standard rotation procedures as necessary.
Checks and gives direction to sampler when required.
Ensuring that samples are collected at agreed times and taht they are correctly labeled.
Carries out routine screen analyses of ball milled product. Includes carrying out wet screening tests, filterring undersized product, drying and try rescreening as required.
Carries out other similar or related duties such as conducting weekly activity test to determine the quality and efficiency of the carbon used for deparing gold from the ore, testing, the quality of re-agents, carrying out cyanidation, percolation, and other testing using bottle rolling equipment.
