Job Description and Requirements

Qualifications:

Candidates must have at least Vocational Diploma / Short Course Certificate.
The job requires Male applicants only
Fresh graduates are welcome to apply

Industries are from the Water & beverage related plastics packaging industry having the experience on High Speed Stretch Blow Moulding Machine, High Speed PET Preform Injection Moulding and Preferred having hands on working experience on Husky Injection Moulding & Sidel Strech Blow Moulding / Labelling Machines.

Qualification

Higher Secondary Schooling Candidates having Diploma in plastic engineering. Or Vocational Training will be preferred

Experience /Knowledge/Skils and abilities

5 - 8 years’ experience in plastic processing highly effective skills and techniques (Must have experience in PET / HDPE bottling and closure manufacturing plants)
Knowledge and experience with layouts, all measuring instruments and gauges, blueprint interpretation, SPC concepts.
Knowledge about plastic materials and experience in performing IV and AA PET related tests
Preference will be given to candidates with computer skills and ISO experience would be an asset.
This is a shift work position.
Comfortable with figures and in collecting, analyzing and interpreting data
Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

Job Responsibilities and Accountabilities:

Ensure the perpetuity and integrity of the quality system, processes and procedures
Ensure effective risk assessments are performed for all new products and processes while meeting all Quality guidelines
In conjunction with the R&D Manager, improve R&D processes and assist in the implementation of new processes as required to make product set up more efficient and increase communication
Establish and measure KPI’s to ensure the highest level of Quality/R&D compliance and performance
Ensure quality of manufactured products.
Inspect goods as they are finished.
Examine materials from suppliers.
Perform quick visual inspections.
Perform complex tests using instruments and equipment.
Test, measure, and analyze products.
Take samples for testing.
Ensure company is meeting the standard codes in the manufacturing process.
Record pass/fail grade of products.
Produce detailed reports.
Observe dials, gauges and indicators to make sure that a machine is working properly.
Count number of products tested or inspected.
Weigh product and samples to verify packaging weight.
Compare color, shape, texture, or grade of product or material with color chart, template, or sample to ensure consistency.
Works safety at all times. Observes all quality & housekeeping policies. Keeps own work area clean & hygienic
