Qualifications:
Nature of Work Statement
Job is responsible for bidding, drafting, review and vetting of Contracts ranging from service contracts to turnkey/lump sum contracts, and handling claims of the Company to ensure that least cost and high quality services are provided at no risk to all the Business and Functional Company Units.
The nature of work includes eight 8 procurement steps most of them are the legal and commercial side :
1-Developing bid package documents, 2- Prequalification of bidders, 3- Bid invitations, 4- conducting job explanation meeting for bidders, 5- Conducting bids opening, 6- Post-Bid clarifications and bids evaluation (mainly commercial and financial), 7- Contract Award , 8- Electronic Archiving of the signed contract into SAP/SRM System .
In addition to contracts, the job will cover change orders, amendments, administering the bidding process, conducting negotiations and resolving Contracting Claims, in accordance with Company contracting policies, procedures.
Employee receives and performs work according to established Company policies, procedures and guidelines in the related field.
Work Experience & Required Skills
Successful candidate should have In-depth knowledge of drafting, review and vetting of Contracts with not less than 3 years' experience , preferably at the Power & Electricity industry .
