Posting of all areas via accounting system (Quickbooks) - Income, expense, general journals, year end journals
Debtors - invoicing, claims, follow ups, payment in system
Creditors - reconciliations, cheque reconciliation, follow ups, making sure processes are followed (PO, Quote, cheque voucher, signature, purchase, invoice for filing with all documents)
Payroll - to be assistant to payroll manager, learning the role
Group Tax (Payroll tax) monthly statement, GST monthly statements, reconciling revenue with GST, Withholding tax (after introduction - as PNG specific)
Fixed asset register
Assist in creating lease/loan register and update overview(s)
Assist in Financial statement preparation
Willingness to learn and improve.
IT knowledge would be appreciated - networking, security updates, printer networking, internet connection issues.
Experience in all of the above areas is good and will be beneficial. However, please note that my major requirement is to have an employee with a good qualification, overall good accounting experience, flexible, an open and analytical mind and problem solving skills as well as people skills and good English in speaking and writing.
3 bedroom house (full kitchen, air-conditioning) to share with 2-3 people, if necessary - same gender and if possible same nationality.
Transport as required (our admin car with driver)
