Job Description and Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

 

  • Diploma in any discipline and Certificate in Cleaning.
  • 3 years experience in the management of the cleaning and pest control work
  • Experience in cleaning operation in the building environment.
  • Skill knowledge of the cleaning and pest control even planning.
  • Possess good interpersonal skills and able to interact well at all levels.
  • Good command of spoken and written English.
  • Computer literacy (e.g. MS Office)
  • Able to multi-task.
  • Able to meet deadlines in a demanding work environment.

 

KEY TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

  • Perform Housekeeping cleaning and Pest Control service.
  • Ensure that the facilities are at all times up to service and quality standards as determined by the management and client.
  • Ensure safe custody, operation and maintenance of all housekeeping related equipment and laundry within and surrounding the facilities.
  • Provide administrative support for the daily operation of the Department. This includes preparation of daily reports on housekeeping operations, quality control checklists, weekly/monthly/periodic reports and any other administrative duties.
  • Establish, documents, implements and enforces a comprehensive set of procedures, processes and instructions necessary for effective operations.
  • Effective and efficient operation of housekeeping office on a daily basis inclusive of inventory custodial responsibility, counter duty, quality/quantity checks, logistics arrangement for cleaning and any other housekeeping related issues.
  • Attend promptly to all housekeeping related problems with emphasis on providing long-term solutions to those of a systematic nature.
  • Other duties related to Housekeeping and Pest Control, which the Housekeeping and pest Manager and/or management require to be carried out.
  • Expected to perform other suitable duties to commensurate the capability and potential as may be decided by the Housekeeping and Pest Manager or Executive.
  • Ensuring cleaning duties / schedules are kept within timeline.
  • Conduct Bi-weekly inspections in all venues/buildings – Method of Calculation

 

ACCOUNTABILITIES:

 

  • Management of staffs, vendors and supplies
  • Update daily information on TAM database
  • Successful completion of scheduled activities. Prompt and courteous response to customer requests
  • Monthly measurement of achievement of Key Performance Indicators.
  • Maintenance and update the management budget, equipment and materials.
  • Conduct regular service and systems audit.
  • Guide and upgrade staff technical and management competency
  • Prepare and update site standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Generate, collate and submission of weekly and monthly reports
  • Submission of claims.
  • Assist the Housekeeping in conducting and reviewing plant operation, emergency plan and contingency plan.
  • Attend daily operation pass-down meeting and update Housekeeping Manager of major works and project activities.
  • Review work request, approval and issuing work order, ensure work on time schedule
  • Assist in control for monthly budgetary.
  • Provide effective technical advice and solution to client
  • Introduce continued improvement and optimization operation of Facility systems
  • Perform emergency support duty, if required
  • Enforces and adopts safety measures among all of his subordinates
  • To assist in the Planning, coordinating and controlling all operational activities in accordance with pre-arranged operating plan and programs.
  • Assist in the Operational execution according to the Contract Documents.
