Requirements: 3-5+ years of experience as a Butcher
English language (IELTS 5.0 is required)
We are looking for retail butchers, or butchers who work in a meat processing plant for the retail environment.
Butcher who works in a retail butcher shop, where they process meat for immediate sale to customers. Butchers in this environment have significant contact with customers and are engaged in the sales process.
Butcher who works in a supermarket. Supermarkets will often have a room where several Butchers work processing meat for display on the Supermarket shelves. Their tasks will be to prepare meats, package ready for display, stack and display on shelves, answer questions from customers in relation to meat products.
High level of English, as there will be a lot of customer interaction
Customer service experience and skills
Knowledge of HACCP
Knowledge and experience with Lamb, Beef, Pork, small goods (Ham, Bacon, Salami etc)
Knowledge and ability to produce and prepare 'value add products' For example meat marinades, sausages, hamburgers, satay, kebabs etc.
We are NOT looking for;
Boning / Slicing / Packaging meat in a non retail setting
