Job Description and Requirements
KAHRAMAA is a major company in Qatar that operates and maintain electricity generation stations, water desalination plants, electricity transmission and water distribution networks. They currently have vacancies for Partial Discharge Measurement Engineers and Technicians (substations) and offers very attractive compensation package and benefits to the successful candidates. An engineering degree in electrical or mechanical or telecomunications is preferred. The minimum qualification requirements for these positions are as follows: 1. To be fully familiar with Partial Discharge Measurement techniques with different equipment (such as PD Locators, Monitors and Ultrasonic Detectors) and their proper usage. 2. To be able to record and transfer data to the integrated software program and use it properly. 3. To be able to diagnose and evaluate the results of the partial discharge monitors and identifies the weak points in the substation equipment. 4. To be able to prepare reports, with recommended remedial actions.
