| II. Job Description for Network & Security Sales Engineer
· The Sales Engineer (SE) is responsible for all technical, solution, and competitive aspects of the sale
· SE’s must be both sales focused and technically astute
· They must be successful selling to the enterprise sector the technical merits of the client's solution
· The SE will work, in conjunction with Sales, Marketing, Support and Product Managers to be the technical bridge between our Sales Representatives and their pre-sales customers
· The SE will take ownership of the prime technical relationship with our pre-sales customers to drive customer satisfaction by proactively managing and delivering technical information to our customers both onsite, online, and via telephone
Experience:
· 2+ years of enterprise class hardware/software selling experience to enterprise customers including finance, healthcare, manufacturing, high-tech companies in Qatar
· Design & Implement sales strategy (maintain, expand client portfolio)
· String and wide networking in Qatar market
· Knowledge in the area of IP networking
· Experience with packet capture and analysis techniques and tools
· Experience with network security tools such as firewalls, IDS/IPS, DLP, malware detection, etc.
· Familiarity with virtualization technologies and platforms
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, persuasion, presentation and writing skills
· Outstanding problem solving skills, including the ability to meet a business requirement with a technical solution
· Knowledge of TCP/IP, LANs and network infrastructure
· Superior solution scoping abilities, using our existing solution and influencing new product development
· Must be willing to work in a fast paced environment with multiple roles, and demonstrate high emotional intelligence
· Bachelor’s degree is a must
· Previous consulting experience implementing enterprise class hardware/software solutions |
